“But Doesn’t the Body Matter?“ by Manuel Rossner is a dynamic sculpture whose constantly changing form is an extension of the architecture of the Francisco Carolinum Linz. The digital material billows, inflates and contracts. The sculpture is supported by a building constructed in the historicist style and by elements drawn in virtual reality. What might architecture look like in the future when life also shifts into virtual space? Which form will a world take, in which material can be changed in the same way as information in the digital world?
